Distribution infrastructure

Distribution business models are continuously evolving from traditional centralised and state-owned models to new privatised core and distributed grid models that cut costs and improve transmission and distribution efficiencies. In parallel, for India, the off-grid and de-centralised renewable energy markets in-particular will develop quickly with an estimated 70-75 million homes remaining off-grid for the medium term.
